“Who is my neighbor?”
Many years ago, someone posed that question to Jesus. He answered with a story about showing compassion to the people you come across on your path in life.
When we talk about neighbors, this is also who we mean: those in our orbits, whether they live on our street, work with us, or frequent the same coffee shops, parks, or gym. Our neighbors are those who surround us in daily life.
We believe that God is already with and in our neighbors–our job is to watch and listen and see what God is up to.
